About Us

The Grosse Pointe Shores Improvement Foundation is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) organization.

Through fundraising events, generous donations and gifts, we have funded over
$2 million in projects, starting with over 1,000 tree plantings, landscaped medians,
shoreline garden scapes, and cast iron light posts...paved river walks, the park pavilion,
the pickle ball courts, splash pad and playscape...the list goes on and on!

We rely on your input, your involvement and your tax-deductible donations to provide
funding that might not be included in the city budget and yet are critically important
to maintaining property values, desirability, and quality of life in the Shores.
